Three ways to face the Beastie.

Set on the banks of Loch Lomond, the three events cover experienced athletes, first-timers and anyone who would rather leave the bike at home.

Novice-friendly

Wee Beastie

400m swim9km MTB3km run

A shorter course and a good first open-water triathlon. The name says wee; the finish still has to be earned.

Aquathlon

Bikeless Beastie

750m swim bike5km run

All the loch and trail energy without the bike: one swim followed by two run laps.

Know before you go: the Beastie bike courses require mountain bikes. Wetsuit rules depend on water temperature and British Triathlon regulations. Event details can change each year.
